Great Value for its Time - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By 1956ford - June 1 - 7:27 pmBought the LX for my wife in Nov 2002. She is 52" and loves it. I am 62" and it is great around town, bit of a challenge on all-day drives. Been to Colorado skiing in 2x and it is great in the mountains. MPG could be more, but the feds killed it with crappy ethanol (insane idea to use food for fuel). Get 18 or 19 mpg around town, stop and go. Interstate driving nets 26+ at 70-80mph. (Ours is the 4 spd auto.) Downside has been recent - right side lock is failing. The radio is poor on AM (had the antenna replaced once) and the radio display is on/off intermittently. Ive used all BG products and done careful maintenance - Santa Fe should go to 150K easily.

One of the best out there! - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Bottomley - May 19 - 2:00 amThis is an excellent car. My husband and I researched cars quite extensively...RAV4, Vue, CRV, Liberty...and overall the Hyundai far surpassed all others. It performs, is made well, has incredible standard features, and the price was unbeatable!

By BG53 - May 14 - 10:00 amOnly owned for two weeks, so impressions are still forming, but so far I am greatly impressed. Feel I got more than I paid for. Very solid construction. Extremely comfortable seats. Decent performance and fuel economy. Great space for people and things. And of course that warranty.

Hyundai Santa Fe - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By jgessert - February 13 - 10:00 amI have been nothing but pleased with my Hyundai Santa Fe. It has predictable handling with sufficiant horsepower to back it up. Interior seating is comfortable and cargo space is generous for the vehicles size. The list of standard features is impressive and make the Santa Fe a great value.

DUMB LUCK - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By MARK MALSAM - September 26 - 10:00 amWe were looking at Honda CRVs (overpriced) and thought the Rav4 was too small and the highlander was underpowered and overpriced. Domestics not a factor. Took a test drive and got a great deal. Warranty was not a deciding factor. It was a bonus. Ride and power with 3.5 liter was deciding factor. Incredibly quiet. It was supposed to be my car but my wife leaves the minivan in the driveway all the time.
